Last night at the stroke of midnight 2015 quietly slipped away from us and 2016 gathered in the mist, lightly falling around our shoulders. For us here at Hyde Monsters 2015 was crucial because it harbored not only our birth as a concept but also as an actual business. Our goal was to accumulate a community of likeminded individuals in which we could share our passions and ideas. Guess what, we made it! Out of the Cauldron and Into the Fire October, our favorite witching month, saw us in the public eye for the first time at the Carolina Renaissance Festival. This was a big step for our company and the outpouring of support from our friends, yes you guys, made our transition into reality smoother than anticipated. Despite the deluge of rain our first show went well. We met with so many fun new people, brimming with questions and monstrous ideas. Yes, we have found our people! We will definitely be coming back to the Carolina Renaissance Festival in 2016! Swamp Thing, I Think I Love You

December brought us a twist of fate and a stroke of luck. We were invited to attend the Louisiana Renaissance Festival for the first time as Guest Artists. We were beside ourselves from the honor of the invitation! Our time at Faire was short and sweet and thus we are already planning our time here next year. Out with the Old and in with the Ghouls Louisiana turned into a wonderfully macabre muse for us, and the creation of numerous new critters took place out in the Bayou. We have slowly amassed an army of creepy critters to ring in the New Year. We are very much looking forward to unveiling our new beasts in 2016 as well as continuing to accumulate hordes of monster mad maniacs like ourselves. Don’t forget to check under your bed tonight, and in the closet, too. Where is your Monster?
